Techno-Economics & Energy Integration
Michelle Adams and Lukas Swan investigate the environmental impact and supply-chain implications of novel/new materials used within new energy systems and related technologies destined for significant societal uptake. Lukas Swan investigates the intersection of energy systems and markets to develop a fuller value and benefit analysis technique considering the wide range of capabilities of energy storage. Hamid Afshari is developing methods to investigate the techno-economic feasibility of extending renewable energy systems to small and medium-sized communities.
